I was trying this out on my OS system, and I accidentally put Open Toonz in full screen mode, and now I can't get out of it. Comand-F doesn't work, when I move my mouse to the top only the Apple dash shows and not the top bounding box of the app. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Just right-mouse click to display a menu which offers an option to exit full screen.

Or hit the ESC key.

Neither of those options have worked either. The ESC key doesn't doesn't seem to work in app (despite it working for my web browser) and right-clicking just brings up options for specific Open Toonz panels

Confirmed this bug. Cannot exit out of the Mac System's Full Screen Mode. I don't mean the full screen mode in the drawing area, but the one activated by clicking the green dot in the app window. The upper right buttons (Cleanup, PltEdit, InknPaint, etc) are doubled in another row above one another. I'd take a screen shot, but I can't when the app in full screen in it's own space. there is no way in the app to exit the system's fullscreen mode.

Solution: I removed the application and deleted the preferences in ~/Library/Preferences (While in the finder; hold Opt and click "GO" in the top bar, select Library, then navigate to Preferences.) that got me back to the windowed view. Remember to hold Option when you click on the Green button to expand the window to the size of your screen without going in to Full Screen Mode.

I ran into the same issue and was able to resolve it by closing the application and then renaming the mainwindow.ini file found in the following directory:

/Applications/OpenToonz/OpenToonz_1.0_stuff/profiles/layouts/OpenToonz.<your user name here>

After renaming the mainwindow.ini file, I launched the application and it opened in its default window size.

I found the location of the "profiles" directory in the SystemVar.ini file located in the package contents (right click the application icon, select "Show Package Contents").

Thanks to Nate Foster's tip on holding the Option key when clicking green title bar button (maximize), it now opens to perfectly fit my screen every time!
