Hi Daniel,

I've deleted the message. If wasn't a "nerd", but rather a spammer who
slipped past Google. These guys sign up for throw-away accounts and
try to plant stuff in Google Groups to draw traffic to their garbage.
Google usually manages to keep them out, but this one slipped past
into two of the groups I run with the exact same text yesterday.

Arle,

It tried to enter a few of "my" groups but they are set to moderate new posters so I filtered him.

Maybe you could do the same here. Once a poster has "proved" by sending a relevant post that he is a well intended human then "always allow" his posts to go through. It is the best way to keep spammers out.
