Hello!

My first posting here!

I have created a Docker image with ot-br-posix + paho.mqtt-sn.embedded-c (link below). It kind of works, but the MQTT-SNGateway crashes with bus fault after a random time (a few hours up to several days). Me and others have reported this on github (link at the end).

Appreciate any input! Thanks!

Hi!

I have updated my OTBR+MQTT-SN dockerfile to use RCP instead of NCP. I also changed the default MQTT broker from mqtt.eclipse.org to mqtt.eclipseprojects.io which seems more stable. No more bus faults.
The meshlocalprefix was a bit tricky. It seems to be changing on every boot now and must be added to the MSQTT-SN but I got it working in the end.

Ole,

Very excited to check this out.  My friend and I have been actively working on a similar implementation.  If anything comes up, I’ll be sure to let you know.

Cheers,
Michael

Great Michael!

I use the Nordic nRF52840 dongle as RCP. The RCP project can be found in the openthread github repo. I have had this running on a Synology NAS for a couple of months now with no issues. I also tried it on a laptop running Ubuntu.

Hello!

I have updated my repo with instructions on how to build the nRF52840 dongle hex-file. I also added a default value for he backbone interface:
