Hi,
We are just building a mesh of 100 nodes. Currently we have about 30
joined and we are seeing commissioning issues. We are using "wpanctl
joiner add" from a raspberry Pi 3 and a SiLabs EFR32MG12P NCP connected
to the Pi UART.
I have found issue 4508
https://github.com/openthread/openthread/issues/4508 and there are some
very insightful comments.
We are on an older version of OpenThread and have been very happy with
it until now, general mesh activity seems very reliable and stable, so
we are reluctant to move and throw away a lot of testing at this time.
Disregarding the actual version, my questions are have other people seen
issues commissioning with a high (30-100) number of devices already on
the mesh?
Does anyone have experience of having many uncommissioned devices
powered and then attempting to commission one at a time?
I know wpanctl is deprecated, but ot-ctl looks very similar - is either
suitable for large a mesh network or should I be trying ot-commissioner?
TIA, Paul.
