Hi All,

I have configured PC as Border router (WPANTUND on PC + NCP on cc2538dk). cli application is running on other cc2538dk. I have configured UTUN6 as Radvd (DHCP) to forward IPV6 address to all connected Nodes (Thread devices) with prefix 2001:abcd::/64, so i am able to get IPv6 address with prefix 2001:abcd:: to all my nodes and able to ping all nodes with their IPv6 address from My PC.

Now, I want to ping IPv6 address of Google (2001:4860:4860::8888) from my Node, How it could be achieved, please let me know.
I am waiting for your solution, Thanks for your valid response.

Thanks and Regards,
Praveen Kumar Kamma

Hi Praveen,

Did you try passing the default route flag (-d) to config-gateway when you configured the global prefix on your Border Router?

I'm guessing that `2001:abcd::/64` was not actually delegated to you.  If you are using that prefix verbatim, the ICMPv6 Echo Reply messages will not get routed back to you Thread device, unless you are applying some form of network address translation.

Do you have a solution in mind for routing IPv6 packets from the global Internet to your Thread network?

  Thanks for your replay mturon,

I already tried by parsing the default route flag (-d) to config-gateway, by doing so, All Nodes in network will get Prefixed address.

But, My question is How can i ping external IPv6 address from Node. Please let me the solution if you tried this way.
