ot-commission replace app external commission issue

Dear all

I have a problem with external commission.

(I only use web-GUI to form a leader)

when I use nordic ncp device to do  external commission with android App is work well,

but when I use ot-commissioner to replace android APP,I get a error.

Do anyone know why is the error happened?

Hi,

Could you upload the commissioner log file? It should be commissioner.log in the directory you launched the command.

Hi,

The OT Commissioner log shows that it received a MGMT_ACTIVE_GET response with empty payload. I suspect that the leader or the border agent failed to send the response. Could you share the traffic in the Thread network? Thanks!

I use wireshark to record my traffic , you can use wireshark and choose open to read the .pcapng file

line 1678~1684 is application data but has dtls encrypt... how do you read?

the reason is code too old in our board ,need to reporting .

but I use latest otbr and openthread "ncp"  execution failed...

so the ncp has been deprecated too in latest otbr ?

it seems you are using latest otbr with wpantund. wpantund has been deprecated in latest otbr. please follow https://openthread.io/guides/border-router/build to setup your otbr.

Otherwise, you need to revert to use an older otbr.
