Hello Everyone,

We have an issue with the address used by the OTBR. and I hope someone can help us figure out how to fix this.

We have a thread network: 3 Routers + 1 Border Router running on a beagle bone.

Recently, we were trying to send UDP unicast messages from the Border router to one of the routers. However, the Border router was using IPv6 address of NAT64 interface (something similar to this fdaa:bb:1:2) instead of using IPv6 address of wpan0 .
We did not have any issue with multicast messages.

We tried to send those unicast messages using a python script ( opening udp socket, .. ) and also using the CLI commands, still same results.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance! :)

Can you try binding the UDP socket to an IPv6 address assigned to the wpan0 interface?
