Hi,

I want to know if OpenThread can work on 868MHz/915MHz network band instead of 2.4GHz?
2.4GHz is universal and has multiple channel but can't go through many walls in a house so I would suggest to add the possibility to use SUB-GHZ band with OpenThread.

How may I see Thread specification or make a proposition?

Cheers,

Thread only specifies use of IEEE 802.15.4-2006 2.4 GHz PHY.  However, I believe it is possible to use OpenThread on top of other PHYs (e.g. IEEE 802.15.4 sub-GHz PHYs) - but using a PHY other than what Thread specifies would be considered a proprietary implementation.

You can download the Thread Specification here.
