Dear queers,

Tonight is the scheduled meeting of NYC Queers Against Israeli Apartheid. Again, we're meeting at the LGBT Center -- and again, the Center is trying to appease right-wing anti-Arab hatemongers by denying meeting space to queer organizers who challenge them. (The hate is spreading: those who want to quash support for Palestinian queers' calls to end the Israeli occupation are now calling QAIA self-hating queers, and QAIA members who are Jewish, self-hating Jews.) So...

Please join Queers Against Israeli Apartheid TONIGHT @ 6pm

for our regular organizing meeting

which is also, by necessity, a sit-in

to demand the right to meet at our LGBT Center.

Where: LGBT Community Center, 208 West 13th Street.

On the agenda, in addition to our organizing work, we'll be reading from Waqfet Banat, the book of Palestinian lesbian writings published last year by the fierce queer activists of Aswat.
