PA bots

PA comes with a lot of predefined bots. There are all .pd files for
each of them, but I wasn't able to found appropriate .class files.
Unsurprisingly PA folks do not want to share their ai sources. Do you
think it is possible to somehow import bots into opentestbed project?
Like using decompiler?

Yes it's possible but not covered by the PA license terms.

PA is written in Java, but class-files are encrypted and obfuscated.
Extracting their bots takes some time reverse engineering and even
then you need to find out about their setup procedures and caching
strategies.
If you fail to do so, they somehow work but perform worse than SimpleBot.

Please understand that we cannot cover any steps involved in making
the bots run in OpenTestBed here.

Thank you for your response. Do I get you right that simplebot
outperforms PA bots like poki?

I never tested against Poki.
Limit was not interesting enough to me :)

I doubt SimpleBot would defeat Poki though ...

sounds reasonable, i would consider it fail if poki would be weaker
than a 400 lines of code bot :) thanks again, cheers.
