Dear all,
Thank you so much for contributing to the recuration of the TECRDB, leading us a step closer to a real open database for thermodynamics of enzyme-catalyzed reactions (openTECR)!
After all, we invested a total of pretty exactly 100 hours in three phases: 65 hours for the actual data, 14 hours for copying and checking the table comments, and 21 hours for the table metadata.
Thank you for your individual contribution to this!
I'm in the process of going through all of your entries with comments and trying to resolve every doubt there is for now.
The next step is to write this up for a publication in Nucleic Acids Research -- the deadline for this is July 1st. We also will need a web page presenting the data by then, but this can be a minimal one.
Let me know if you have any other ideas on this project -- otherwise I will reach out to you at some point. ;)
Best,
Robert
