Dear team,

I submitted a project proposal for the 3rd BioHackathon Germany, which will take place between 9th and 13th of December: https://www.denbi.de/de-nbi-events/1678-biohackathon-germany-3

And openTECR got accepted. :)

Last year we celebrated a globe-spanning online-only week of work together, whenever people had time available. And it was super productive!

I would aim to do the same this year, unless any one of you would want to work in presence, too.

We need to confirm our participation and name the "project (co-)leads" to the hackathon organizers.

I would like to take this opportunity to ask if one of you wants to join me in hosting this year's event? Last year Teddy and Elad supported me, and I believe we have a lot of material for running the hackathon already at hand now. So I believe we are speaking of a workload of 2 to 20 hours of preparation (depending on what you would like to do). Same at the hackathon week itself, it could be little time or a lot, depending on what works for you. It's mostly about speaking to people about their progress and whether they are happy with how it goes, and to invite people to come together and to act as a moderator for these spaces (asynchronously or in real-time).

Do you feel like this is for you? If so, I would be very happy if you reach out to me as soon as possible. :)

Thanks and best,
   Robert

P.S.: Attached you find the text of the proposal itself.
