Dear all,

My third child was born in June, and I am on parental leave until June 2026. Although it's progressing well (almost enough sleep in the night, yeah!), I don't want to take on the responsibility and effort to organize a hackathon this year. Usually we had one in December or, maybe even slightly better, in January, when things academic or elsewhere calmed down.

Would you be interested to organize a week of getting to know each other, and give the hackathon your personal twist?

Judging from my recordings, I invested 20-40 hours into preparation of the hackathon, and 10 hours during the week into meta stuff. I would be very very happy to share the material that is already available (so you could do a lot of copy'n'paste), or you can develop everything from scratch -- I certainly could mentor you in case of any doubts or for the sake of motivation, if you would want this.

Reach out to me personally or via the list, if this is something you would like to do.

Thanks so much to everyone for staying in the loop and I hope you are doing good :)

Best,
   Robert
