In the image of this card, a large acorn stands out in the foreground.
Behind this we can see a lovely little pig seated with a tall violet
hat on his head, decorated with gems, from which his ears poke out. He
also wears a beautiful embroidered blue collar.
Acorns and pigs are both considered lucky charms in our real world, above all by the northern populations, but in the magic kingdom of the Fairies, they have an even more important significance.
Acorns are in fact a primary food for pigs, as they are for Fairies, especially in the winter. They are therefore a symbol of the struggle to survive, for the spirit of initiative and the creativity needed to overcome daily difficulties.
When the Ace of Acorns appears in the Fairy Tarot, it indicates for them the beginning of an enterprise, but also triumph of trust in oneself.
In your oracle this card could also indicate exaggeration: remember
the
greed of the pigs for the acorns, therefore symbolizing something taken
to extremes. Attention therefore to the totality of the card. If the
other cards are positive and indicate prosperity and wealth, then the
Ace of Acorns signifies maximum prosperity. If the other cards are
negative then the prognosis clearly becomes less favourable.
Divinatory Meanings
Card Upright: Success of an undertaking, obstacles overcome, battles
won.
Reversed: Anger; many serious obstacles to be overcome; end of a
relationship, even a sentimental one.
The writing that appears on the scroll in in Latin and reads: "Bonis
nocet qui malis parcet". This can be literally translated as "He who
spreads evil harms the good". As this refers to the suit of Acorns one
must not forget the exhortation to action. The good must be careful of
those who spread evil - above all under false pretenses - and fight
them.
