A short while ago we held an IRC meeting to discuss several topics,
and now I want to bring them in front of you so we can discuss them in
greater detail.
The first topic that was discussed was an important one -- growing the
team. The general consensus is that this could be best done by
holding events like face to face meetings, installfests, etc. and
passing out information about the team. The main idea is to just be
able to get more people involved.
This lead to the discussion around events.. face to face meetings were
mentioned, but what kind of events would y'all like to see this year?
Thanks!
Jon
Thanks,
Jon
In the mean time, what you guys could do to help promote the group is
go to some of the local install fest that are coming up. I will reach
out to Aaron to get a list. Right now I know those are very heavy
Buntu users, and if we can get openSUSE there, that would be a big
plus.

Have you tried SUSE Studio? Need to create a Live CD, an app you want
to package and distribute , or create your own linux distro. Give SUSE
Studio a try.

That's a good idea, I say we run with it.
