Hi guys from N. GA MTNs

I was in the process of upgrading my system from opensuse10.3 to 11.1
everything seemed to be going great most everything was even working
better/faster (really liked the fast Yast), now for the BUT, the video
was choppy with both FF & Flash and also xine/Kaffeine local avi type
video. The audio would also get out of sync and or get choppy too! I
tried several thing to improve my video but no luck. (turned off all
programs not needed ran simplest settings in Gnome altered settings in
X11.conf even tried XFCE Dtop which was slightly better.

So I made the move to 11.2. Well 11.2 (KDE) is better and different,
the audio stays in sync better and no chop. But the video is still a
problem as it has a frame inter-lace where half frame get left behind
almost reminiscent of an old TV horizontal hold roll.

My 10.3 works perfectly with the same computer hardware. With the
repositories going, going, gone (as of Oct 31) I wanted to move up. I
know my hardware is a little old and slow by todays standard I just
don't see why I can watch full screen HD Hulu with 10.3 and can't get
11.x to watch non HD small screen. Any Ideas!

David
