What would qualify an old building located downtown as a 'Historic Site/Point of Interest'?

Also, would a 'Point of Interest' include a building that is only 'famous' due to it's unusual architecture (eg. Boettcher Conservatory)?

Hey Andi,
I am going to have to get back to you on Monday with an answer for
these two questions. I have to consult with some other people and
they are all gone for the weekend. Sorry for the delay!
