Do you have a planned venue?
I'd be happy to try and get our offices (160 Quenn St. Good Pub Irish
times nearby) as a venue.
Other than projector and 30 seating, can't offer more than moral
support - if that helps as I guessing the Pub alone would not welcome
an outright "install-anything-fest".
A Melbourne footprint is important.

There's a training room at VPAC (http://www.vpac.org) which gets used
a bit in the university sector, perhaps ...
