Either seems OK to me. Slack looks nicer, gitter has better github integration.

IRC is too old-school, often difficult with firewalls. XMPP may be too niche.

Slack is fine with me. We already use that internally so that is probably easier to get the whole team to use consistently than another app.

Its low traffic, but I’ve found the devs to be highly responsive.

Just wondering if there is any plugin available in Opensphere which can provide a color coding based upon percentage ?

I don't think there are a lot of plugins outside of the main OpenSphere tree
that are public.

I think you might need to be more specific to get a definitive answer for this
specific question though. As in, percentage of what? And what data (?) are you
trying to colourise?

Maybe it would help if you can explain what you need to do, what you've tried,
what happened, and what you expected to happen instead?
