Angular 1.5 vs Angular 8

Hello,

We are about to embark on developing a modern Angular web application for data search and access using OGC web services (via GeoServer).

We are thinking it would likely make sense to leverage a library like OpenSphere. Is it hard to integrate Angular 1.5 libraries like OpenSphere in an Angular 8 project?

Not necessarily. You just won't be able to make use of any of the UI packages from OpenSphere since those are all Angular 1.7. Instead, you would be doing your own UI in the framework of your choosing.
