I have installed and configured OpenSphere in nginx on Ubuntu. When try to access on localhost I receive a blank page with Opensphere logo in the tool bar like the attachment.

Is that the expected behavior?

How should I receive the page as in the Live version where we can upload the sample data?

How did you build and install it? Are you following https://
opensphere.readthedocs.io/en/latest/getting_started.html# ?

Did the
yarn start-server
step work OK?

What URL are you trying to open?

No. Something is clearly wrong.

It does build and install OK for me, but you'll need to provide more
information on what happens for you (e.g. what appears in the dev console in
Chrome?) when you are open the page?

HTH.

Hi Brad,

I followed the steps here to install it on Ubuntu: opensphere.readthedocs.io/en/latest/getting_started.html# .

I received errors related to JAVA, Python etc. not in the Path which I was able to overcome. After that, the yarn build was successful.

I have created a virtual host in Nginx by updating sites-enabled and am able to access it using http://localhost:port. I get the logo in the toolbar but the page is blank.

Could you please send me a screenshot of the 1st page ?

If something wasn't clear in the documentation, please file a PR to suggest
improvements.

Hi Brad,

Can we use the same steps to deploy it in AWS cloud or are there separate steps ?

Its just static files, so you can deploy it in whatever way works for your
needs.
