Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I would like to create maps of
the results of the LISA. I know that GeoDa does a great job of producing
a color map within the program, but I was wondering if there's a way to
export the results of the LISA in order to import the data into Arcview
or something similar in order to do more cartographic stuff. I know in
SpaceStat it produced output files. I've tried looking around GeoDa and
I can't seem to find a way to export the data. Is there a way? Thank you.

Hello John,
Here is an excerpt from the GeoDa workbook in p. 142 that may help you:

...
19.2.5 Saving LISA Statistics
Several intermediate results can be added to the data table. Right click
on any of the maps or select Options > Save Results from the Options
menu, in the usual fashion. A dialog appears that suggests variable names
for the local Moran statistics or Lisa Indices (I_HR8893), an indicator
for the type of cluster for significant locations only (CL_HR8893), and the
p-values from the permutation routine (P_HR8893). Check the check boxes
next to the default, as in Figure 19.10, and click on OK to add these new
variables to the data table. Verify that they have been added, as
illustrated
in Figure 19.11 on p. 145.

...

Make sure the new variables have been added by checking the data table and
then right click it to find the option to save the data to a new shape file,
which you can manipulate in other GIS if you wish.

Regards,

L.G.

John:

Once you created the LISA maps (the significance map or the LISA map),
you can right click within the map and choose "save results", and you
can choose to save LISA, cluster and the significance values in your
attribute table.

Hope this helps.
