Subject: Classification of Cluster and outliers
To:
geoda...@asu.edu
I ran the LISA tool on my dataset which results in a significance map,
cluster outlier type map as well as the local moran index. However my
worry is, according to literature if the Local Moran is positive it
will be a cluster of either HH or LL and if the local moran is
negative it is an outlier either HL or LH. I then looked at the local
values and this is what i found for HH the min value of the local
Moran is 0.00050, max 64, for LL min is 0.00007 max 0.00391, for LH
min is -0.01182 max is -0.00002 and HL min is -0.640000 and max
-0.00001. My issue is there seem to be an overalp. So i would want to
know how Geoda determines Clusters and outlires using Local moran. Or
in other words how does the Locan Moran classify HH,LL, HL and LH
values.
