Hi Bill,

We don't have GeoDa for Ubuntu 21.04 since it's not LTS (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases).
But you (or someone you pay/work with) could build GeoDa from source, by following the setup in Github Actions:

Subject: [Openspace] Geoda install issues, would a container be better?

I am having installation problems and wondering if there is Docker for Geoda which would help?

My local machine is Ubuntu 21.04 Hirsute Hippo. It has GEOS 3.9 and I don't want to retreat from that. Attempting to install, I get errors ;

dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of geoda:
 geoda depends on libgdal26; however:
  Package libgdal26 is not installed.
 geoda depends on freeglut3; however:
  Package freeglut3 is not installed.

And I can't get the package manager to find these, nor have I found repositiories.

Lastly, would it be appropriate to pay someone to help me with this? (I'd put a job on Upwork?)
