When I click "Sign in" at the bottom of pages on the Google site, I
get an error page that says:

The page you requested is invalid.

I can't seem to replicate this problem.... odd.

I get the same error on two different machines, using Firefox on one
and Chrome on the other.

Hmmm... I don't have any similar issue, but it occurs to me that I'm
generally already logged into gmail on the same browser. Maybe you
should try logging into some other Google service in another browser
window, and then try the Google site and see what happens... maybe
that will work around the bug..

Yuck....

Maybe we should port the content to a different platform then, but I
don't have time to do that in the immediate term... in the short run
it's better just to give you permission if you want to edit the site
;)

I have just done so...
