In this newsletter, we would like to share the following news.
1. Open Source Workshop (#18) 2014.06.07
2. OpenSourceHK.Hack.03 Hackathon @ The Loft
3. Job Vacancies on OpenSourceHK Job Board this week.

1. Open Source Workshop (#18) 2014.06.07

Workshop will be started from 2pm with short talks from open source project teams participating in this workshop, and then workshop and hackathon will be started after short talks. Hereby is the list of some open source project team participating this open source workshop, you can learn from teams and contribute your skills.

1. Open Chinese Font Project
2. Open Source Voting System Project (openvote)
3. Firefox zh-HK Localization Project

Date / Time: 2014.06.07 (Saturday), 2:00-5:30pm.
Venue: Classroom G5-215, 5/F Academic 1, City Univerisity of Hong Kong, Kowloon Tong.

2. OpenSourceHK.Hack.03 Hackathon @ The Loft

Open Source Hong Kong organizes weekend hackathons in June again, so you can code, chat, learn, share with others.

Tentative Date / Time: 2014.06.21 Saturday 11am - 9pm
Venue: The Loft (To Be Confirmed)
Fee: HK$150/head including little venue costs and some foods and drinks.

3. Job Vacancies on OpenSourceHK Job Board this week.

Previously we announced launch of new open source job board on OpenSource.HK this month. It's aimed to help the growth of open source developers and users in Hong Kong, and help companies to look for candidates with open source skillsets.


The job board service is free of charge for potential candidates and employers, and requirement of potential candidates to get job posts should include open source skill set. For companies who would like to post your job posts on OpenSourceHK job board, please create a account and OSHK will process new account creation with you.

New job board software is developed by Sammy Fung and released as free and open source on GitHub. If you like this job board software, make donation to software author or look for support service of the software, please contact with author.
