Matt, I'm not sure if I thanked you properly for these links! I did NOT know about this project, fantastic stuff. If they combine it with the energy device Charles Fraser has brought much more awareness to, the world might have transportation problems taken care of and wrapped up. :) 

I'm considering ordering one for Team WIKISPEED to learn from. At 500 euro for the chassis, it's a great deal- similar in price to our own WIKISPEED SGT01. I can't wait to learn more, and see if there are ways we can help them out!
