it's time for another update!

the new UI and improved groups support is getting ready for 2011.
it's pretty easy to fire up your own heroku instance of the groupy
branch:

$ git clone git://github.com/austintimeexchange/oscurrency.git
$ cd oscurrency
$ git branch groupy origin/groupy
$ git checkout groupy
(edit config/config.yml)
$ script/heroku_install

the main improvement of the new code is making the UI more fun to use
(with jquery/ajax) and refactoring and improving the groups/multi-
currency support so that every currency has the same feature set
available to it.

so far, i have one volunteer to help me beta test the new code. if
you just want to check it out live, you can log into the standard demo
site here:

http://demo.opensourcecurrency.org

or a fresh install here:

http://falling-samurai-382.heroku.com

as usual, there are several ways to report bugs, feature requests,
etc. :
1. GitHub issues: https://github.com/austintimeexchange/oscurrency/issues
2. IRC: #oscurrency on freenode
3. email: herestomwit...@gmail.com

until the code is merged into the master branch, you can follow the
latest checkins here:

https://github.com/austintimeexchange/oscurrency/commits/groupy/

thanks to everyone for their interest!

cheers,
tom
