a few notable features are being worked on right now.
1. there is an effort underway by Lee Azzarello (a member of time
interchange new york - TINY) to get oscurrency to work on heroku.
this is happening on the master branch:
http://github.com/austintimeexchange/oscurrency/tree/master
this will be a big step forward as it will mean oscurrency can be
deployed with minimal effort. lee has made oscurrency compatible with
postgres which is part of the strategy to getting all the
functionality of oscurrency available on a heroku deployment.
2. offers! you can check out the new offers feature on the demo
site:
http://demo.opensourcecurrency.org
the catalyst for the offers feature has been the bay area community
exchange's (BACE) upcoming timebank. the columbia exchange circle
(CEC) fork of oscurrency added offers from the beginning and in
practice it is almost always used for goods. in the BACE
implementation, you can specify the quantity of what you're offering
and each time someone accepts the offer, the amount available is
decremented.
cheers,
