Hi
If you tell me what problems you are having, then I can help.
including carrying out the installation via a remote connection, using
vncserver, at a time convenient to myself and whoever requires they
help. Following the instructions provided, I have successfully
installed the database, and required software on Microsoft Windows XP
& Vista. I do not own either a physical or virtual machine with
Windows 7 installed, however, as MySQL, OpenOffice (Or LibreOffice),
java, all install in a straightforward manner on Windows 7 as well,
there should be relatively ffew issues. In answer to the MS Office
version, then the answer to that is no, the intention is for this to
be a completely free, and opensource database, with again, excludes
Microsoft Office. However, the MySQL data can be accessed by Microsoft
Office applications, but you will have to design your own screens, and
more importantly, code for the database to funtion as you require.
Cheers
Tony
