[OSTDB] : LibreOffice 3.4.4 compatability news....

Hi All

Over the last couple of weeks or so, I have been testing the database
with the latest version of LibreOffice 3.4.4. I am pleased to say
that, after some re-writing / designing of some code and forms, the
logging side of of the database (aircraft_log_database.odb) works fine
now in LibreOffice 3.4.4, however, I have yet to test the maintainance
database front end on LibreOffice 3.4.4, this will be carried out
shortly.

The modifications required for LibreOffice 3.4 also work perfectly
well on the earlier verions of LibreOffice and OpeOffice from 3.1
onwards.

Another thing to consider is, when running LibreOffice with the java 7
beta release, the performance increase is impressive to say the least,
so feel free to use a Java 7 version with libreoffice 3.4.4, I can't
vouch if Java 7 works with any of the earlier versions of LibreOffice
or OpenOffice. Java is required for the database component of
LibreOffice/OpenOffice.
