Please check /etc/services... is the port 22 entry there?

#setenforce Permissive
#/etc/init.d/sshd start
..
#setenforce Enforcing -> switched SELinux back to enforcing

or

You can either turn it off completely by editing the file
/etc/selinux/config file

Thanks-

Hi,

Check the ssh port whether it is running on 22 or not @ /etc/ssh/sshd_config. You should see 22 port in namp If ssh is running on 22.

Ritesh.

Hello Meenakshi

Do share your /var/log/messages as suggested by Rajveer.

Also - if you see your directory listing - it is surprising that yur host key is dated Dec 29 and the pub/pvt keys (rsa/dsa) are Jun 3

Pls delete all the key files and restart ssh service. If it does not work, re-install the rpms
