how to config tally path in linux

hi every body
 i need your suport on linux regarding tally ini path config
    Q.) 1 . i have install wine on my pc
       after then install tally 9.0 tally is runing very vell but i m anable to pick data form samba windows tally server b coz tally has created a ini txt file wich locate taly data path had tryed to change path of tally data but data not found
 Plz help me to set it.

Dear Safdar ,

You have to change the tally ini configure file.

you find a line like this
;;Specify location of Data files
just below this line you set path as u r environment if u r samba ip address is 192.168.0.10 and data store in tallydata folder then path is

Data=\\192.168.0.10\Tallydata

try it.
if steel problem let me know whats the error.

         I have try the but data is not showing on same path example my tally server ip is 192.168.0.232 data location is D:\tally\data also tell me how can do fast run tally in linux tally is runing so slow

Dear Safdar,


If tally is working slow ,then you have to put some entry in .ini file just below data path:

Optimizenetwork=yes
Loadbuffering=no
Flushfile=no

Plz  tell me is your tally data on window system or in  linux samba system.and which version of tally r u using.
