I can recommend Google'ing for "goodbye moshi". 1st hit is an instructables that details what to buy and do -- worked the first time when I replaced the proprietary Chinese controller and software on our K40 laser. Still working fine a year plus later.

Beginner guide, as in very very beginner?

JC <jco...@gmail.com>: Sep 09 07:58AM -0700 All,   I apologize up front for basically asking you all to be my Google search but my knowledge base for this is very low so I'm not even sure what to search to get what I need...   I purchased essentially one of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-40W-CO2-Laser-Engraving-Cutting-Machine-Engraver-Cutter-USB-Port-/322496119440?hash=item4b16444290   on Ebay in 2016 when they were on sale for super cheap. I have seen the blogs and the like on pulling out the electronics so it doesn't use LsrDraw and can be used with InkScape. I can do the physical swaps but I have know knowledge on what to do... Would any of you mind pointing me to the most in depth step by step "how to" that exist for this? The closer to a "for dummies" version they are the better. :)   I lost the dongle during a move and didn't have Corel Draw anyway so it's pretty much just a big paper weight right now.   Thank you in advance for any links and any refraining from virtually yelling at me for what I'm sure has been posted numerous times before.   JC
