I've been through the help documents for OpensongApp (OSA) for local storage and file sync. Still I'd like to use basic operating system file managers for some of my Song curation, backup, etc. As such I'd like to learn the best practices of making changes to song files external to the app, while the app is not running.
It seems like placing the opensong text files in /[opensongapp_root]/Songs is the main folder from which OSA builds its library of songs. However, when moving songs in and out of that folder while OpenSongApp is not running, then opening OSA and doing a full "Index Songs" provides inconsistent results.
One workaround is to go into local storage and re-choosing the same opensongapp_root folder. If this is the best practice, OK. But if I'm missing something, please let me know.
Thanks!
