"OpenSong" songs by pages and not scrolling

The app is truly the best, without a doubt!

The only drawback is that it doesn't have the option to change pages.

This is undoubtedly the most important feature for musicians who use tablets and page-turning pedals.

I humbly request that you reconsider enabling this option in the app.

Anyone who wants to use it should do so, knowing that the page-scrolling feature will be disabled, which is already the case with other similar apps.

Please enable this option, the program will be simply perfect in every way.

Hi Heleno,

The app does allow page turning pedals to work (you can check out the settings at: https://www.opensongapp.com/user-manual/controls/foot-pedals).

With OpenSong formatted songs, there is no such thing as a 'page'.  This allows the app to make best use of your device's screen height.  For this, the app will scroll using the footpedal.  Once you get to the bottom, you can then scroll to the next song using the same pedal.

If you are using PDF files (your choice), the app will still scroll.  If you would rather move page to page, you should switch the app to Stage Mode (https://www.opensongapp.com/user-manual/app-mode#h.af4asobka5oc).  Each PDF page will be shown as a separate section (you can also set the max height for the section scaling to 100% in the Settings > Display > Scaling page).  Using the foot pedal will then show a page at a time when you scroll through the pages/sections using the foot pedal.  In testing this, however, I have found a small bug.  I am just about to upload the update to the beta channel (v6.4.7) which will include this fix.

Remember OpenSongApp works best with OpenSong songs - PDFs are supported, but do have limitations!

First of all, it's a pleasure to speak with you and congratulate you on the excellent program and the immense contribution you've been making.

Now, I'm referring specifically to songs, lyrics, and chords typed or imported as a text file, whether in OpenSong or ChordPro format.

I don't use PDFs, only this type of configuration above. There are other programs that use the same system, such as "Songbook Pro" (https://songbook-pro.com) (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.songbookpro.songbookpro&pli=1).

However, OpenSongApp is infinitely better and more complete. I think if this function of changing pages instead of scrolling (by unchecking this option) were implemented, it would be perfect!

Please consider this carefully; it will be very helpful.
