Hello so for some reason I think I did something wrong. I have this app on my phone and on my tablet. So I created backup file like app says to to OSB. So now I can only see the songs on my phone app. But when I try to export the OSB to my google drive then import it to my opensong on my tablet the songs are there when I import them on the tablet?

So what is the best way to add to your song list like lets say you have a current list but then want to add 3 more songs to make it the same list with 3 more songs?

Are you talking about adding songs to your library/storage folders?  Or adding one of your existing songs to a set?

For adding songs to the library, I normally import from UG but I have also created songs manually. There are good steps for this outlined in the manual: https://www.opensongapp.com/user-manual/songs/create-new-song
For adding a song to the set list, I normally use the checkbox to the left of the song in the main list which adds it to my current set.

So if the 3 songs you want are not in your library at all, create or import them following the steps in that manual link.  If that doesn't answer your question let us know.

I did discover that I needed to back up my setlist separately from the song back up.  When I moved to a new tablet last year or so,  the OSB restore  did not have my set lists.  I was able to go back to my old tablet and find that there was a separate process for Set lists.

make it the same list with 3 more songs?

Isn't that just save as new name?

Yes
Source App
Top Left 3 bars, then Set Tab, bottom + sign,  Manage Sets, Backup. Select the set lists to include, Backup, select destination (Dropbox, OneDrive, etc)

New App
Top Left 3 bars, then Set Tab, bottom + sign,  Manage Sets, Restore. Select OSBS file Source  (Dropbox, OneDrive, etc), Import. (Set Overwrite existing to on)

Ok sounds good also does this app have a limit as to how many songs it can hold?

No limit other than how much storage storage your device has!
