Hi Gareth,

Would  you explain a bit  about Song Restore?

I use it quite a bit to catch my phone up with my tablet.

The Overwrite Switch on the Restore page - It appears to me that with it on the App makes multiple copies of a song ie:  Sad Song, Sad Song 1, Sad Song 2, etc.  Is that right?

If Overwrite is not selected and a song is restored from a Backup with the same name does it replace the song or skip it?  Does the app know that it is the same name but newer/older?

Should I be deleting everything in my song folder first?  Before restoring?

When you don't select overwrite, the song restore should skip that song, but if you do, it should overwrite the song.  The fact that there are numbers being appended means that there is some permission issue with the file - this shouldn't be happening and I'll look into it.  This method does not check for last edit dates, etc.

Actually, there is a smarter way to synchronise songs and sets between your devices:

Alternatively, use a separate app such as Drivesync or Dropsync to keep your entire OpenSongApp content (everything in the OpenSong folder including pads, songs, sets, etc):
