Since latest update (August 2026), app force quits

Hi from Wi, USA,

First, thanks so much for this app! Love it!

Unfortunately, since the latest update, when I try to open the app, it opens briefly, then force quits, sometimes flashing a black or white screen. I've cleared the cache and uninstalled/reinstalled the app.

I do have a tablet that's a few years old, but I'm not sure if that would affect it.

I'd appreciate your help as I would love to continue to use this app.

Hi Bethany, 

Can you send me your crashLog.txt file.  This is created by the app when it crashes and hopefully let's me know what code caused the crash.

If you have a file manager on your android device (usually an app called 'Files'), navigate to your OpenSong/Settings folder and you'll find the crashLog.txt file there.  Send that to me. It will also tell me which device and version of Android you are using and which version of the app you have.
