New to the App

Just got a large format pad and found your App.  Looks great and has a LOT of features.  But one thing it seems to be missing is an in-depth guide for the absolute beginner. Kinda got a taste for this sort of app back a few years when my son and I (drums, bass) backed up  Eli ben Moshe,  Marc Chopinsky, and Paul Wilbur at a conference.  (using an ipad)  Eli had them all tethered together and we all got to see the songs on the screen.  So I tried to take pics of al our songs for next week's set but now I cannot find any of the pics; or even if I found them, how to import them as songs to arrange into a set. 

An absolute beginner's tutorial would really help.   Thanks.

Can I confirm that you want to use photographs of song sheets rather than use OpenSong formatted songs (which would definitely be my recommended option)?

To add a song to a set, simply tick the checkbox next to the song in the song menu.  Here's the manual page on working with sets (including a video):

To connect Android devices running OpenSongApp so that one host device triggers the song load on a client device, use the 'Connect device' feature:

We have a lot of songs on paper.  Some have been typed up in either MSWord or Libre office.  Since we are a Messianic congregation we have a different repitore than other congregations.  So in the short term photo is best.
