Hi Gareth.

Is there any possibility of having message communication with those clients connected to the web server, in terms of giving some directions when not close enough to speak about it. Maybe to announce some unexpected changes...

Part of my band partners does not have Android devices, but do have iOS so the Web Server feature has been a bless but I haven't found yet an alternative or option to let them know when something has change.

Any idea on how to display a message or animated alert at some point of the connected screens?

As always thanks for advice and recommendations!! Blessings!!!

I've actually made some big changes to the web server to speed it up for iOS viewers.  This is in the current beta (v6.6.3) and will be in the stable channel this week (as v6.6.4).
What kink of messages or alerts are your thinking about?  Typing a message on the Android device and having it show on the webserver clients?

Yes!!! Exactly. For example, Message 1 - we are changing the next song two tones up, Message 2- There's not enough time for all the songs, Message 3 -We are going to take a break, Message 4 - Please turn up your volume I can't hear you,  Message 5- Please do the intro, etc....

Something like this?  I've set up 5 custom messages that get saved to your settings.  You can send them quickly, or edit and send.
This will be available as a page button, or custom gesture, pedal button, etc. or as a button on the webserver settings page if you like it!

Hi Gareth!!
Just to ask, if to make use of the web server messages feature the client needs (required) Chrome,
because my partner, that haave an iPad OS Version 26.3,, Model name iPad (9th Generation),
and Model number MK2K3LL/A3, does not see the messages from Safari Browser. For him It only works with Google Chrome.

Hi Mike,

I've tested with my MacOS and the message displays in Safari Version 26.5 (21624.2.5.11.4), but that's on the desktop - I don't own an iPad or iPhone to test.

Safari can be quite picky about receiving text messages over local servers and can treat them as a potential security risk.  I've put a modification into my code for the next release to allow Safari to check for a safer method (using 'blobs') before looking for text.  I'm not sure it will help, but you can let me know.  It will go live next week,

Gareth
