Hi,
The link seems to have a sample application demo thanks for
providing us the resource.. But i would like to know how can we get
the orkut user id in profile view as we do in the past. Because these
codes seems to return the opensocial id which we havent used in our
application. so if you provide a code for getting the orkut user id in
template that will be much more useful..

I am looking for the same too - need to get orkut user id in profile
view when using templates - any suggestions?

Why do you need the orkut user id? everything for apps works with opensocial ids.

Actually we had made our application earlier it is a popular
application with many users. We want to add our application to
profile. The reason we need the earlier user id is that our db has
stored all users profile url userid's So someone plz help us to get
profile url user id's
