Board Members,
I've had a few conversations with one of the organizers of the Enterprise 2.0 conference that is upcoming in Boston. He would like to have OpenSocial participate from a vendor neutral, industry perspective.
There are several options that are available to us, including
- Up to four 20 minute speaking sessions on the general conference floor
- A reception like table on the show floor
- (possibly) a booth like one of the vendors has
I would like to continue the theme of our Open App Revolution and have a presence at this event. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend, so I would need to start working with someone else to help coordinate and drive this effort.
For our four topics we could talk about:
- Apps in mobile
- Embedded Experience
- Activity Streams
- Enterprise App Marketplaces
In exchange for this, we will need to promote the Enterprise 2.0 conference in various ways, e.g. on the blog, cross list postings etc..
We will need to finalize the details next week. If you, or some other member you know, are willing to help, please let me know and we'll get right on it.
Thanks,
-Mark Weitzel
