Problem: There's no easy way for a developer to specify that certain
content should be rendered on all views.

Proposed Solution: We propose the following as an interim solution:
- A new value for the "view" attribute of the Content element: "all".
- If view="all" then the content within that Content element should
render in all views. This would be logically the same as specifying
individual Content elements, each with the same attributes and
content, for each supported view.

- Valid values for the "view" attribute would be:
-- <blank>, or attribute missing (default value): Content renders on
default view. (Canvas for Myspace)
-- "all", "home", "home", "canvas", "profile"

I thought that not specifying any view type meant "render on all views" right now. And because not specifying any view type = "default", I think the word "default" is semantically equivalent to "all".

So, I think you are suggesting that we change the meaning of default/no attribute as well add a new "all" type as you described.
Just trying to clarify.
