Can you send me the Jars by email(cg...@h3c.com) and your steps to make it in detail? I can’t access the site in your post.

 

And I also followed the instructions in https://github.com/OpenSOC/opensoc-streaming/issues/3 to get a source copy to compile krakenapps,

but only ended up with the similar error as before:

 

[ERROR] Failed to execute goal on project kraken-cron: Could not resolve dependencies for project org.krakenapps:kraken-cron:bundle:1.6.0: Failed to collect dependencies at org.krakenapps:kraken-api:jar:1.9.8: Failed to read artifact descriptor for org.krakenapps:kraken-api:jar:1.9.8: Could not transfer artifact org.krakenapps:kraken-api:pom:1.9.8 from/to krakenapps (http://staging.krakenapps.org/): The target server failed to respond -> [Help 1]

I was really frustrated.

Check my previous email on the same thread. I ran into same problem and downloaded the Jars locally and installed it to local maven repo.

I browsed http://download.krakenapps.org and pinged it, it just didn't response.

I also logined to http://alive.in.isdownorblocked.com/ to check the availabilty of the site, it told me the site is down.

Here are the steps to install it to local maven repo:

mvn install:install-file -Dfile=kraken-pcap-1.5.0.jar -DartifactId=kraken-pcap -DgroupId=org.krakenapps -Dversion=1.5.0 -Dpackaging=jar -DgeneratePom=true

FYI we stood up our own maven repo for kraken-pcap. If you pull the latest changes of the master branch of opensoc-streaming, it should build.
