Responsibilities:
- Plan,
design, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for 4G LTE and
5G NR technologies, covering functional, performance, stress, regression,
and interoperability testing.
- Develop,
maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard
automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Python, Robot Framework, Selenium,
etc.).
- Identify,
analyze, and document software and hardware defects clearly and concisely
in a bug tracking system.
- Collaborate
closely with development, system engineering, and product management teams
to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure product
quality.
- Set
up and maintain test environments, including configuring network
equipment, base stations (eNB/gNB), user equipment (UE), and test tools.
- Perform
log analysis and debugging to identify root causes of issues.
- Contribute
to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay
up-to-date with the latest advancements in 4G/5G technologies and testing
techniques.
- Generate
test reports and provide timely feedback on testing progress and results.
- Participate
in test strategy and test plan reviews.
- Potentially
contribute to the development of in-house test tools and utilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's
or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a
related field.
- Minimum
[Specify Number, e.g., 3-5] years of experience in testing 4G LTE and/or
5G NR wireless technologies.
- Proven
experience in developing and implementing automated test scripts and
frameworks.
- Strong
programming skills in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Perl,
Shell scripting).
- Hands-on
experience with automation tools and frameworks like Robot Framework,
Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.
- Solid
understanding of 3GPP specifications for LTE and NR (e.g., Layer 1, Layer
2, Layer 3 protocols, call processing, mobility management).
- Experience
with various testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Spirent, Keysight,
Anritsu test equipment).
- Familiarity
with IP networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, UDP).
- Excellent
analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong
communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability
to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience
with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
