Hi all,

The next release of Open Siddur client and server are now on app.opensiddur.org

The newest feature is "outlining" -- start with a book[1], select the book's primary language and the license of the resulting text...

Then, start a blank outline. Each outline item is a file in the Open Siddur database. Subordinate items are included in higher items.

The transcription window is available to help with outlining and linking to source pages:

Once saved, the outline will let you know if any items in the outline already exist in the database (by title). If they do, you can select whether the same one was intended to be included. Once done with the outline, it can be "executed," which will create all non-existing files and link all the existing files to the source and page numbers. You can also keep track of what work has already been done by looking at the right column, which shows the current "status" of each document with respect to the source (see below):

A new part of the text editor's sources dialog lets you specify the status:

[1] For this to work well, the book must be linked to a scan on Google Books or Internet Archive. The linkage can be done via the "Sources" tab.
