On the final step (pasting the Pull Secret) I get this error. Any suggestions as everything else seems to work?

That looks like you may have a malformed, incorrect or mangled up pull secret. Using the latest versions, mine is much longer than the output you have, so it's either tripping up mid-way through, or isn't valid to begin with.

Thanks for the suggestion. I thought the same thing but even tried downloading it then opening the file to copy/paste the actual content (much longer). Same result either way. When I initially paste it, it is much longer but is shorted when the error is displayed.

Is the content you're pasting a single line?  The wizard library stops reading when it gets a newline.

Cheers,
Trevor

I wonder if it's generated with some non-escaped characters in it that's throwing the json quote/brace/etc matching out of whack. Which version of the installer are you running, and how long has it been since you grabbed a pull secret? The contents changed at one point and was giving me some trouble last week. A current pull secret should look like this (except all on one line) :

    "auths": {
        "cloud.openshift.com": {
            "auth": "authkey 1",
            "email": "emailaddress"
        },
        "quay.io": {
            "auth": "authkey 1",
            "email": "emailaddress"
        },
            "auth": "authkey 2",
            "email": "emailaddress"
        },
        "registry.redhat.io": {
            "auth": "authkey 2",
            "email": "emailaddress"

Hmm, I believe I'm using version 0.16.1 (I started this on Friday and tried again yesterday). Every time I get the pull secret it's only a matter of a few seconds as I copy/paste it from the browser. The secret does look like what you pasted too though. Thanks for following up, I'm so close!

Try grabbing the 0.15.x version and see if that works. I've gotten that one working lately, but didn't see that they bumped to 0.16 yet.

That was it! Brilliant! Thank you so much! 0.15 worked like a charm

Awesome, glad it was that easy in the end.

It may be worth opening up a BZ for 0.16 not working the way it should.
