Job Description
- Infrastructure Management - Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Automation and Orchestration- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, and CloudFormation/Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Monitoring and Logging - Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Security and Compliance - Implement best practices for security and compliance, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security to protect data and applications.
- Performance Optimization - Continuously monitor and optimize system performance, capacity, and cost, making recommendations for improvements and scaling as needed.
- Collaboration - Work closely with development, operations, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software applications and infrastructure.
- Documentation - Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
Skills -
- Proficiency in Terraform scripting.
- Experience with multi-cloud environments, particularly AWS and Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including VPC, VPN, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
Certifications – AWS/GCP Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS/GCP Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
