Job Description: Licensing Expert
Experience: L3- 7+ Years of Relevant Industry Experience
Required Skills:
- In-depth understanding and knowledge/ certification of multiple publishers (Tier 1and Tier 2) such as Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP, VMware, Citrix, Techsmith, Autodesk, etc.
- In depth knowledge on ServiceNow SAM Pro
- Good knowledge of various inventory/ discovery solutions, like ADDM, Bigfix, SCCM, ServiceNow etc.
- Knowledge of Hardware Asset Management Processed, CMDB, Service Request Management process.
- In-Depth knowledge on Publisher license metric.
- Knowledge of Generating and reviewing software compliance position report.
- Able to identify opportunities for software harvesting and optimization
- Good Presentation skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, Power Point.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Generate License Compliance positions for Vendors like Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle etc.
- Plan for renewals, renewal recommendations.
- Harvesting & Optimization etc.
- Day to Day SAM operation work
- Resource building and Resource planning
- Training and Mentoring of the team.
- Escalation handling.
